St George’s Day 2021

St George’s Day 2021

Every year, we as scouting would normally gather in our districts and do a parade in one of our towns / villages on the weekend of St George’s to renew our promises together. Which would involve activities also. With the current restrictions in place with coronavirus we are not able to celebrate St George in the way we normally would, but we will still find other ways to celebrate. Below are just some of the activities and photos from our fantastic young people from different groups from around the Mid Herts District

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
